Gameplay Improvements Star In The Fifa 10 League Game

Responding to feedback from consumers of the more than 275 million games played, FIFA 10 further refines a success. The award winning Fifa 10 league game was released in 2009. In its first three weeks of sale in the UK alone, over one million games were sold. FIFA 10 became a record breaking game. Since then it has been winning audience approval and awards. Averaging more than 3 million online games played daily, the FIFA 10 game was the most competitive virtual sport in the world in the year of its release. FIFA 10 boasting a many improvements to its core gameplay and other modes and features has been an understandable best seller.

FIFA 10 is the 17th title in a series of video games released by Electronic Arts and sold under the EA Sports label. There are 31 leagues and over 500 teams in the game, as well as 41 national teams in the 10 series. The Russian Premier League is a new addition. But, it was not featured in the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. In the 10 series, the Netherlands is included as a national team. Due to FIFA League changes, there are 46 teams that were not included in the 09 series, including 25 that have not appeared in an earlier FIFA video game. The team and player enlargement has complemented player capacity changes. These gameplay refinements allow for greater responsiveness and skill display. The improvements made to gameplay fundamentals have made this game closer to the reality, with greater sophistication in ball control and physical interaction. The FIFA, FIFA Football or FIFA Soccer series of video games feature association football. Each new title in the series is released annually during the last 3 months of the year. The first title in the series was introduced in 1993. They are the first games granted an official license by FIFA, the governing body of association football. The use of real leagues, clubs, and player names and likenesses brings greater realism to the games and is one of the reasons each release is highly popular. The latest series installments feature many exclusively licensed leagues and teams from different regions. The FIFA games are available in 18 languages and 51 countries. It is one of the best-selling video game franchises. The 09, 10 and 11 series have all been record setters. The new FIFA 11 holds the current record for the fastest selling sports game ever sold, with over 2.6 million games sold and over 150 million dollars generated in less than a week after its release. The FIFA series comes in different modes and is complemented by installments based on major tournaments and series football management titles. Each annual title operates in different modes. Each year the next addition to the series carries features that are improvements or modifications.

Ultimate Team and Manager Mode

Significant improvements have been made to the 09 offering. Only users of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are lucky enough to enjoy it. Ultimate Team allows gamers to build their own teams. The number of players and leagues available has been vastly increased in the 10 version. Now, more than 7,500 players from 29 leagues are available. This has vastly improved the team building options and should make this mode much more fun. Users will have more opportunity with this new improvement to build playing chemistry. In each formation the variable links allow for greater flexibility in building chemistry. Also, instead of being able to create just one team, now users can develop fifteen. FIFA tournaments also are bigger factors in this version.

Users will find Manager Mode is more challenging than before. The financial aspects are closer to reality. Board approval is required for managers, which in some cases adds more risk to the game. Scouting has also become more challenging. This is the last version of Manager Mode in the FIFA series. In FIFA 11, Career Mode has replaced the Manager Mode. In Career Mode, users follow a footballers career through its evolution from player to manager.

Virtual Pro feature

Virtual Pro is a new addition. It offers the opportunity to put yourself in the game. A custom player can be added to any FIFA 10 game mode. Attributes can be altered, with improved stats the player can even play in the Club Championship. This mode is an improvement from earlier parts of the series. In the past you could create a player for use in Be a Pro or online club games, but could not use him in other modes. The Pro you create can improve stats in any of the modes you desire and can carry them over to another mode. Be aware that the character attributes scale to the physical attributes of the player. A shorter player will not be as physically challenging as a taller one, who will in turn lose speed with more inches. Faces of the creation can be changed any time. Players can also add attributes and make the player more realistic and unique. Generally in this version the improvements do not tinker with the basic FIFA template. But, authenticity has been realized more in this version. It builds on the EA tradition of improving on earlier renditions. Its enhancements deliver greater realism and sets the standard for simulation of the real game.
